Business park Vatheuershof South-East
The industrial parks Vatheuershof and Vatheuershof Südost, are located around the historic Ahlen water tower. Both areas are located in the south of the city, on the feeder road to the A 2 freeway. The Vatheuershof industrial park has a gross commercial area of 35.5 ha. The commercial area is 95% occupied.
The industrial park Vatheuershof Südost has a commercial building area of 157,000 m².
In the Vatheuershof industrial park non-disruptive companies can be located on the west side and emitting companies on the east side. The second area entrance and exit on Dolberger Straße, which was developed as a round-about, serves to relieve traffic and will later also facilitate expansions of the site. Due to its location in the entrance area of the city of Ahlen on one of the most important connecting roads to the A2 freeway, the industrial park is particularly attractive for traffic-intensive companies.
In the Vatheuershof industrial park there are companies from the fields of plastics processing, building materials, filter technology and a bus company, among others. The planned goal of creating an attractive automotive strip along Dolberger Straße has been largely achieved. Five car dealerships present themselves to customers here.
