The municipality of Lippetal intends to develop an industrial zone near the junction of the A2 freeway. The industrial zone is to be connected to the "Westfalen" power plant via a process steam pipeline. A feasibility study on supplying the planned area with process heat is available. In addition to the supply of process heat, the industrial zone will also have a good broadband connection. Due to the proximity of the power plant, the supply of all its other products is also ensured.
